How To Recycle Your Pour Moi Products
Dear Earthlings: RECYCLING leads to a lot LESS carbon dioxide for our planet!
Our packaging is evolving every year as better sustainable safe packaging solutions become available.
Hydrating Balancers
Materials:
- Bottle: 100% recyclable; made entirely of Class 1 PET.
- Reducer + seal: both are made of Class 4 LDPE; currently, small items like these can’t be recycled yet.
- Cap: due to the fusing of materials, inside PP and outside ABS; it’s not accepted at recycling facilities.
- Box: 100% recyclable. made of cellulose-based, biodegradable paper + soy ink + water-based coating.
How to recycle: Fold box by pushing the bottom inside, then press flat and recycle in your recycling bin. Recycle the bottle by removing the reducer first (clear plastic piece inside the top of the bottle’s neck), rinse the empty bottle and place in your recycling bin. Dispose the other parts in your waste bin.
Serums
Materials:
- Bottle: made inside of PP and outside of ABS; due to a mix of materials, it’s not likely to be recycled. We are currently working on replacing with a 100% recyclable bottle.
- Pump: all parts are made of PP + aluminum spring inside; however, small items can’t be recycled.
- Cap: made of ABS Class 6; likely to be recycled.
- Box: cellulose-based, biodegradable paper + soy ink + water-based coating is 100% recyclable.
How to recycle: Unfold top and bottom of box by pulling out tabs, then press flat and recycle with the cap in your recycling bin. Dispose of the bottle with the pump in your waste bin.
Day Creams
Materials:
- Bottle + Pump: airtight packaging, all parts made of PP & ABS; due to a mix of materials, it’s not likely to be recycled. We are currently working on replacing with an air-tight 100% recyclable bottle + pump.
- Cap: made of ABS Class 6; likely to be recycled.
- Box: cellulose-based, biodegradable paper + soy ink + water-based coating is 100% recyclable.

- Cap: made of PP Class 5; likely to be recycled.
- Box: cellulose-based, biodegradable paper + soy ink + water-based coating is 100% recyclable.

Materials:
- Bottle: made of glass
- Cap: made of PP Class 5; likely to be recycled.
- Box: cellulose-based, biodegradable paper + soy ink + water-based coating is 100% recyclable.
